Godelive de Cordier Okit’otete, the new managing director of SUNU Assurances (Non-Life) DRC

Godelive de Cordier Okit’otete has received a promotion to the position of Managing Director at SUNU Assurances DRC.

Godelive de Cordier holds an MBA in management and business law with a major in corporate law from the Paris School of Business, a Master’s degree in insurance and risk management from the Ecole Nationale d’Assurances (Enass), and a DUT (University Technical Diploma) in legal careers with a major in corporate law from the Sorbonne Paris North University.

Godelive de Cordier professional career began in 2006, and she has since held a variety of management positions with many businesses in France and the DRC, including Atos Consulting, Activa Assurances DRC, and the association of insurance and reinsurance companies of the DRC.

In 2020, she became a member of SUNU Assurances (Non-Life) DRC, where she held the positions of Deputy Managing Director, Secretary of the Strategic and Investment Committee, and Secretary of the HR and Remuneration Committee.

38 years old, married and mother of 3 children aged 14 to 7 years old. Born to a Congolese mother and a French father, Godelive de Cordier spent a large part of her childhood in France and several visits to the Central African Republic. In 2014, she and the husband decided to return to DRC to use their expertise and experience acquired in Europe to serve their home country, and to be closer to their origins.
